Are you a marketeer looking to add an extra spark of creativity and innovation to your campaigns? If so, you might want to consider seeking inspiration from Egyptian real estate developer, Mountain View, which just won The 2022 EPICA Awards a few days ago.

The EPICA Awards, honoring the best in creativity and effectiveness worldwide, recently announced that Mountain View is the only Egyptian brand to win the top prize this year.

Mountain View was also recently awarded a Silver Epica Award 2022 for its campaign in the luxury and premium brands category. This award is one of the most prestigious awards for creative marketing and celebrates excellence in creativity and innovation.

To be a part of this elite group is an honor that we do not take lightly. Let’s look at what this milestone means for Egyptian marketers and how other brands can replicate it.

An Egyptian Campaign Meets Global Creativity Standards

Mountain View’s winning campaign featured the beloved Egyptian football superstar Mohamed Salah, and it was an instant success.

It’s worth noting that Mountain View is the only developer in Egypt and the Middle East that won the Epica Award for 2022 and the first regional real estate brand to win the Epica Award since 2018.

Award-winning campaigns come down to two key things: strategy and execution. And during its execution, Mountain View tailored its messaging based on different demographics’ preferences, interests, and needs.

For example, when targeting younger audiences who are more likely to be familiar with social media influencers like Mohamed Salah, the company focused heavily on creating content featuring him that would be especially appealing to that age group.

On the other hand, when targeting older consumers who may not always be aware of current trends or celebrities such as Salah, Mountain View tailored its messaging by emphasizing how its product can help make life easier or more enjoyable for those individuals—something everyone can relate to regardless of age!

The EPICA Awards: A Global Recognition of Creativity

The Epica Awards recognize the best in creative marketing from around the world, making it one of the most sought-after annual awards in the industry.

Established in 1987, Epica is unique as it is the only creative prize judged by the press.  More than 200 magazines and websites from around the world are on the Epica jury.

This year, Mountain View won a silver award for its luxury campaign, “The Bubble Buster”. This recognition is especially meaningful because it is considered a celebration of the brand’s commitment to creating stellar campaigns that impact our community and still realize its business goals. It also demonstrates the brand’s ability to execute innovative marketing strategies across multiple platforms—from traditional media to digital channels.

We are proud of Mountain View for setting a new precedent for all other Egyptian brands this year. This victory shows what is possible when you combine creativity with effective strategies and powerful messaging—something we should all strive for as marketers no matter where we are located or which industry our company operates in!

So, What Does This Mean For Local Brands?

We can undoubtedly agree that this is a major accomplishment for Mountain View, but it’s also a testament to the strength of Egyptian brands on the global stage.

For one thing, it shows that they can compete with global brands on an international stage when it comes to creativity, originality, and effectiveness of campaigns. It also signals that there is great potential for growth in the local market if brands focus on creating high-quality content with a powerful message behind it, that can reach global audiences.

This latest accomplishment by Mountain View further proves why they have been so successful over the last 18 years – their commitment to constantly striving for creative ideas that stand out amongst their competitors.

And on that note, we’d like to congratulate Mountain View on winning the Silver Epica Award 2022; we look forward to Egyptian brands setting new standards of excellence worldwide.
