Writing Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in contributing to our marketing magazine. We appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and expertise with our readers. Before submitting your article, please read the following guidelines carefully:

  • Original Content: We only accept original content that has not been published elsewhere. Please do not submit articles that have been published on other websites or in other publications.
  • Topic Relevance: Your article must be relevant to the marketing industry. We are looking for articles that provide insights, analysis, or commentary on marketing trends, techniques, and strategies.
  • Word Count: Articles should be at least 850 words and no more than 1500 words. Longer articles may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
  • Formatting: Please submit your article in a Word document with 12-point font, double-spaced, and include subheadings, bullet points, and numbered lists where appropriate. Please also include a brief author bio (100 words or less) and a headshot.
  • Research and Citations: We encourage the use of data, statistics, and examples to support your points. If you are referencing any data or statistics, please provide the source in the form of a hyperlink or a footnote.
  • Tone: We prefer articles that are informative, engaging, and accessible to a wide audience. Please avoid overly technical jargon or language that is too casual.
  • Copyright: By submitting your article, you agree that you are the sole author and that you own the copyright to the content. You also grant us the right to edit, publish, and distribute your article in any format.
  • Editing: We reserve the right to edit your article for clarity, grammar, and style. We may also make minor changes to the title, subheadings, and formatting to align with our style guide.
  • Submission: Please submit your article via email to the designated editor. Please include your full name, email address, and a brief summary of your article in the body of the email.
  • Response Time: We aim to respond to all submissions within 2 weeks. If you do not hear from us within this time frame, please assume that your article has not been accepted.

Think Marketing Magazine (TMM) is a professional B2B magazine that leans heavily towards more professional audiences such as CMOs, Marketing Heads and etc in the MENA region. Please ensure you are keeping the audience in mind while writing to avoid:

  • Basic English Errors.
  • Simplified Definitions of Marketing or Industry Fundamentals.
  • Simplified and Incomplete Data That They May Know.
  • Articles should avoid Irrelevant Info, outdated trends.

The magazine holds a minimum 850-word rule with no real maximum word count; however, we do encourage writers to keep to a possible maximum of 1500 words.


Backlinking Guideline

Currently we do allow DoFollow linkage in the article published on Think Marketing Magazine. If you are looking to link in your article, please use the following points.

  • Contributors may have max. 2 outbound DoFollow links per article
  • Duplicated links or several links to the same website that is not TMM are not allowed
  • Websites linked must have a Domain Authority of 50 or higher.
  • Websites linked should grade Spam Score 0%


Contributor Bios and Photos

Contributors data sharing policy aims at keeping you active well recognized as contributor.

  • Contributor bios and photos are provided by the author.
  • Photos must have person centered due to current magazine photo bio layout for proper visibility.
  • Contributor bios must be writer in the 3rd person format.
  • Experiences mentioned should only be those in the relevant industries to TMM’s readership, and may include links to the author social media profiles.
