2020 is marking itself a great year for Egypt so far, as we will witness one of the biggest and most anticipated global events in March. We will be welcoming the Annual Women Economic Forum all the way from India to Egypt, under the Auspices of the President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi.
The event is happening in Egypt in support of the National Council for Women, represented by Dr. Maya Morsy, managed by The Worx; a woman lead Events Management Company, represented by Neamat Khalil, and the WEF, represented by Dr. Harbeen Arora.
The main goal of this conference is to bring more business opportunities to Egypt.
The Annual WEF is leaving India for the first time and taking place in Cairo, the heart of Egypt. Expecting a great number of inspirational and leading business women from Egypt and across the globe, who will be participating in the forum. The main goal of this conference is to bring more business opportunities to Egypt, exchange expertise and inspire. This is a chance for the young female entrepreneurs to network and get first hand exposure from business leaders.

Introducing Women Economic Forum
WEF is an international female lead platform initiated in India by Dr. Harbeen Arora who is the founder and chairperson.
The WEF is a non-profit organization; it aims to enable women and leaders from all around the world to expand their business, connect them and to inspire them through shared stories from other great female leaders from the whole world.
The WEF originated in India and has around 150,000 members from around 50 countries and aims to enable global connection and empower women’s leadership.
The forum is celebrating its 35th global edition and across those editions it has witnessed a lot of inspiring and prominent business women from around the world, ranging from Royalty, Ministers, Heads of States, Scholars, Professors, Judges, Ambassadors and entrepreneurs.

From India to Cairo, Egypt
This is the first time the conference will be held in Egypt and it will be divided into two parts, 4th & 5th of March, a conference at the Nile Ritz Carlton, and starting from the 6th till the 9th of March the delegates participating in the cultural immersion and tourism programs will tour and enjoy the beauty of our beloved country.

WEF to have Important and Leading Names
The event will welcome around 600 to 800 International and National attendees and it will witness the presence of several Egyptian Ministers such as: Dr. Hala El Saeed, the Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform. Dr. Rania El-Mashat, the Minister of International Cooperation. Dr. Nabila Makram, the Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs. Dr. Yasmine Fouad, the Minister of Environment, and Dr. Nevine Kabbaj, the Minister of Solidarity for Social Protection.
As for public figures and businesswomen, the conference will host Mrs. Jehan Sadat, Lamees El Hadidi, Dr. Azza Fahmy, Dr. Ghada Howeidy, and Egyptian Politician HE Dr. Moshira Khattab. All of these great leading women will be joined by Mike Whitfield who is the Chairman & Managing Director for Nissan Motors Egypt, Chairman of Nissan South Africa.
