A few days ago, the government has decided to help all entrepreneurs across Egypt. The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has launched a campaign under the name of ‘One Million Entrepreneurs’

What to Know About The Campaign
Over 10 days ago the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development represented by ‘Rowad 2030’ project has announced the launch of the ‘One Million Entrepreneurs’ campaign.
The Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Hala EL-Said stated that entrepreneurship has an important role in economic growth as it can provide creative solutions to economic challenges.
Since entrepreneurship became a part of the economy and part of its growth, it is important to support it as young entrepreneurs’ small projects can be effective and can contribute to achieving development. Entrepreneurship can solve existing problems in the market by creating new projects or new products.
It’s worth mentioning that ‘Rowad 2030’ was launched in 2017 and was funded by the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr. The project’s goal was to spread the culture of entrepreneurship among the youth. ‘Rowad 2030’ collaborated with the University of Cambridge and the Faculty of Economics and Political Science and provided programs like Professional Master of Entrepreneurship to those who applied.
The Campaign’s Goal
The campaign is encouraging and supporting young entrepreneurs and all of those who want to start their own businesses.
The campaign aims to qualify 1 million entrepreneurs by the year 2030. The government will provide all applying entrepreneurs with all the materials and skills they need to plan their projects. The campaign will enable them to transform their ideas into real on-ground projects.
The Program’s Stages
The training program was divided into three stages.
Stage One: The trainee will learn in this stage how to identify the business model for a startup, how to test the idea of a startup, financial management, business development, effective leadership skills, the readiness of the startup for investment, and building a brand for a startup.
Stage Two: Trainees in stage two will be introduced to the Egyptian law of investment and establishing companies, Egyptian taxes, social insurance and emerging company obligations, managing the stages of growth and development of emerging companies, decision making and problem-solving for entrepreneurs, appointments and selection of employees, and increasing the capital and financing for startups.
Stage Three: In this stage, entrepreneurs will learn about creativity and innovation for entrepreneurs, data and information analysis in emerging companies, management and development of digital products, marketing and use of social networks, sales and sales management for entrepreneurs, strategic planning, motivation and development of employees, and intellectual property laws and preserving the rights of startups.
The training program is online and applicants will be under the supervision of trainers at the highest level. Also, the programs for entrepreneurship will be in both Arabic and English and the trainee will receive a certificate of completion when they complete the program.
