With all these opinions going around all over the platforms, we can’t help but ask, does it deserve all this hype?

Prime Hydration Drink: Who Are The Brand Owners?

Prime Hydration Drink is a brand launched by well-known social media influencers named KSI and Logan Paul. Both of the influencers have millions of subscribers and followers on YouTube and Instagram; both of them dominated the YouTube scene since 2009 till now.

Logan Paul is an American social media personality, actor, boxer, and professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on a part-time basis and co-founded Prime Hydration.
As for KSI, he is an English YouTuber, rapper, and boxer. He is a co-founder and member of the British YouTube group known as the Sidemen. He is the CEO of Misfits Boxing and the co-owner of Prime Hydration, which is our today’s topic.

Both of the influencers’ content has a huge variety starting from gaming and prank videos, which went extremely viral to entering the boxing sport, music industry, and film industry, which led to forming a huge fan base for both of them. In the music industry, KSI and Paul made a lot of popular songs such as Keep Up by KSI and The Number Song by Logan Paul. They also took roles in different movies like Laid in America and The Thinning.

The Story Of Transforming From Enemies To Business Partners

In the beginning, Both KSI and Paul were not exactly on good terms due to having a huge beef when they started their boxing careers. After going against each other in boxing games they became friends and on December 29th, 2021 they posted on their social media platform hinting that there would be another game, which went extremely viral.

To end the speculations, both of the influencers came live announcing that they became business partners by opening their own beverage brand leaving their fans surprised.

Prime Hydration Drink Goes Viral

After becoming business partners and launching their own brand, they announced their new product Prime Hydration Drink.

As we mentioned earlier, both of the influencers have a huge fan base all over the world, therefore, the moment they launched their brand many people of their fans wanted to get their hands on the drink.

The brand owners planned a creative marketing campaign to promote their product; they sponsored Barcelona, Arsenal, and The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). They also launched different social media ads with the famous soccer player Haaland.

One of the smartest moves to promote the new drink was made by Logan Paul who went to the WWE drinking Prime while KSI wore a Prime bottle costume on WrestleMania.

With their excessive work on marketing their new product, many fans defended the drink against negative comments and rumors to the extent they reached a high level of success and recognition.

Is Prime Hydration Worth The Hype?

Prime Hydration went extremely viral due to the amount of people trying it and giving their opinions about it. In fact, many social media users created YouTube vlogs reviewing the product. People’s opinions varied as some liked the drink while others hated it.

When Prime Hydration drink was launched in Egypt, it sparked a controversy due to its unlogical price which ranges from 500 L.E to 1000 L.E; this is the reason why the drink went viral here.

The famous Egyptian influencer Amr Sherif tried it and stated that it was not worth the hype or the price.

Going on a global scale, the icon chef Gordon Ramsay gave his own opinion regarding the drink during a podcast by Heart “It tastes like swallowing perfume” giving it zero out of ten.

Following A Trend Became A Trend

Many people bought Prime Hydration and took photos with it just to join the trend. This made us ask “Should all trends be followed?”

Due to some people following unnecessary trends, some topics go viral when they are extremely trivial.

Before joining a trend we should ask ourselves a couple of questions, Why am I doing it? What am I getting out of it? The answer will guide you on whether to join this trend or not.
In the end, spending money on a drink just to join a trend can be a complete waste of money, so, our question to you is, would you spend 500 L.E or 1000 just to buy a drink?
