n an inspiring move to support underprivileged communities during Ramadan, Ora Developers Egypt, a trailblazer in real estate development, has joined forces with the Al Joud Foundation to kick off the “Together for Good” campaign. This collaboration aims to bring essential aid to those in need through various charitable activities during the holy month, spotlighting the power of unity in fostering positive change.

The partnership was officially launched with a signing ceremony at Al Nas Hospital on February 21, 2024, attended by influential figures such as Engineer Naguib Sawiris, Global CEO and Chairman of Ora Developers Group, and Mr. Ayman Abbas, Treasurer and board member of Al Joud Foundation. This event not only marked the beginning of a significant initiative but also highlighted the commitment of both organizations to community service and their dedication to making a real difference in the lives of the less fortunate during Ramadan.

The “Together for Good” campaign is set to roll out two grand Iftar charity banquets in Cairo, hosted at the prestigious ZED East and ZED El Sheikh Zayed projects of Ora Developers Egypt. These banquets will offer 1,000 underprivileged individuals a chance to break their fast daily in a nurturing and respectful environment, emphasizing the spirit of togetherness and community support.

Further extending their outreach, the collaboration will also see the preparation and distribution of 5,000 Ramadan provision boxes to underserved communities in Upper Egypt. These boxes, packed with essential food items and supplies by volunteers from the ZED communities, aim to bring relief and joy to many families ahead of Ramadan.

Mr. Ayman Abbas shared his excitement about the joint effort, praising Ora Developers Egypt for rallying community participation in packing the provision boxes. He underscored the significance of collective actions in reaching out to the most vulnerable, especially during such a sacred time. Abbas also highlighted the foundation’s ambition to expand its charitable reach, particularly in food security, and praised Engineer Sawiris for his unwavering support since the foundation’s early days.

Engineer Naguib Sawiris expressed his pride in the campaign, applauding Al Joud Foundation’s impactful work and its plans to amplify its efforts. He highlighted the critical role of civil society organizations in social welfare and committed to doubling the annual provision of meals to 40,000 to further alleviate the burden on needy families.

Ora Developers Egypt’s commitment goes beyond real estate development; it focuses on creating sustainable, integrated urban communities that cater to a wide range of needs, including sports, entertainment, and well-being, with a special focus on supporting the youth and local community.

Since its inception in 2015, the Al Joud Foundation has been at the forefront of redefining charitable work in Egypt, aiming for a lasting societal impact through a diverse array of services, from medical care to food donations.

This partnership between Ora Developers Egypt and Al Joud Foundation is a testament to their shared vision of social responsibility and their endeavor to enrich the lives of underprivileged communities during Ramadan, truly embodying the campaign’s motto, “Together for Good.”
