Egypt has many talented entrepreneurs that lead a huge success in every field and industry. Over the years we have been witnessing many awards being given to leaders in many industries, but we have never seen entrepreneurs receiving awards for their achievements; well, we’re about to witness one.

Entrepreneurship has been driving growth into the Egyptian economy, therefore, a new event under the name of Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards (EEA) will be launched to celebrate successful entrepreneurs, which goes in parallel with Egypt’s vision to support entrepreneurship.

 

I-EVENTS Launches EEA

On the 25th of February, I-EVENTS has announced the launch of its event Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards (EEA), which is the first of its kind. I-EVENTS is founded and managed by Amr Mansi. The event is set to take place in May 2021 and it will be a celebration and acknowledgment to the brightest and successful entrepreneurs in all industries.

The official website of EEA was launched on the 24th of February, and it has all the details regarding the awards and nominees submitting their applications. There are more than 15 categories such as Architecture & Design, Fashion & Jewelry, E-Commerce, Education, Fitness & Lifestyle, Food & Beverage, Media & Advertising, Social Entrepreneurship, Tourism, Next Generation Family Intrapreneur, Media & Advertising – Branding, Media & Advertising – Creative & Content, Young Entrepreneur of The Year, and more.

The nominees will be evaluated by jury panels that will have at least 3 top industry experts chosen by the advisory board.

 

EEA’s Goal

As we mentioned earlier, the main goal of the event is to celebrate the successful entrepreneurs who achieved great success and became leaders in their industry. Also, the event wants to inspire more young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams through the stories of those leaders.

EEA will be a platform where all great minds meet and exchange experiences and inspire each other.

Mansi stated that entrepreneurs need a platform where their achievements are celebrated,

Egypt’s entrepreneurs need a platform where their achievements are celebrated and recognized; EEA was founded in order to create a focal point where entrepreneurs can meet, thrive, and inspire younger generations to pursue their dreams

 

All You Need to Know About The Advisory Board

What distinguishes EEA is its advisory board, it features some of the biggest and successful leaders from many industries. The advisory board’s role is to select the jury panels, provide guidance and pass on their experience, which will make EEA a credible entity.

The advisory board will include the following names: Ahmed Elsewedy, President & CEO of Elsewedy Electric S.A.E., Aladdin Saba, Founding Partner of BPE Partners, and Ahmed Habib, President & CEO of Harvest Holdings & Founding Member of EO Cairo.

They will be joined by Hussein Rifai, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Inertia Holding, Dina El Mofty, Founder of Injaz Egypt, Neveen El Tahri, Chairperson at Delta Shield for Investment and Onsi Sawiris, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at HOF Capital.

The list goes on to include Thuraya Ismail, Executive Director of Mentor Arabia & Eisenhower Fellow, and Wael Fakharany, CEO of Omnix International.

 

Three Powerful Sponsors Supporting EEA

The event is sponsored by Inertia Holding, Orange, and PepsiCo.

Hussein Rifai, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Inertia Holding said,

As for Orange and PepsiCo, they are also Co-Partners.

Mr. Mohamed Shelbaya who is the CEO of PepsiCo Egypt expressed his happiness to be sponsoring the event as PepsiCo believes that the Egyptian youth is the main pillar to achieve sustainable economic development. This comes in line with the company’s global strategy “Winning with Purpose”.

This is not the first time PepsiCo supports the Egyptian youth, it always supports them in entrepreneurship and sports field.

Also, Yasser Shaker who is Orange Egypt CEO stated,

Successful Entrepreneurs and Startups always inspire us and make us very pleased and happy to see how they influence our society and our economy.

 

We are sure that this event will leave a positive impact in the field of entrepreneurship and it is possible to see more young entrepreneurs rise.
