[dropcap style=”2″ color=”#f50a0a” text=”As”]part of their collaboration, the Egyptian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) will be implementing the Digital Arabic Content (DAC) program in Egypt through the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC).
TIEC, representative of MCIT, and ESCWA are delivering a workshop about the opportunities and challenges facing startups working in the digital Arabic content industry. The workshop will take place on Sunday March 2nd 2014 at the TIEC premises. The workshop will target entrepreneurs who are willing to establish startups working in projects related to the Digital Arabic Content industry and different stakeholders who are willing to support entrepreneurs in this area.
Furthermore, TIEC and ESCWA will launch the Start IT – DAC competition as a side event to this workshop. Winners in Start IT – DAC will be offered an incubation package in one of TIEC’s incubators.
