In an exciting development, Careem, the leading multi-service app in the region, has announced the launch of its “Go 3ala Kefak” service in Cairo, marking a significant expansion following its success in Alexandria, Tanta, and Damietta. This launch underscores Careem’s dedication to simplifying and enhancing the commuting experience for both customers and Captains across Egypt.

Introduced on February 21, 2024, “Go 3ala Kefak” is designed to offer unparalleled flexibility to Careem’s users. The service allows customers to customize their rides to suit their specific needs, including the fare, car model, Captain’s rating, and estimated time of arrival (ETA). This innovative approach not only caters to the varied preferences of customers but also empowers Captains by giving them the flexibility to accept the proposed fare or suggest an alternative, ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement.

Wael Ibrahim, General Manager of Careem Rides Egypt, KSA & Bahrain, shared his enthusiasm about the new service, highlighting Careem’s commitment to innovation and the introduction of locally catered products that address the everyday commuting needs of its users. He emphasized that “Go 3ala Kefak” will be the most affordable car type available on the Careem app in Egypt, aiming to provide a reliable and convenient commuting option for daily users while offering flexible earning opportunities for thousands of Captains across the country.

The “Go 3ala Kefak” service is part of Careem’s broader strategy to offer locally tailored solutions that enhance the daily commuting experience. Customers opting for this service will continue to enjoy the full range of features available on the Careem app, including voice and email support, in-ride care support, ride tracking, telematics for safety, Captain ratings for quality assurance, and secure online payment options.
