On a separate note, Juan Carlos Garrido who was appointed at Al Ahly SC in the Egyptian Premier League (2014–2015) and fired after Al-Ahly were knocked out of CAF Champions League by Algeria’s ES Setif on penalties. Which pushed the most famous Egyptian team to make such a decision. Garrido came into the scene to wish the best for the club and also said that he will keep on supporting Al-Ahly.

The new Portuguese football coach José Vítor dos Santos Peseiro  began his career coaching in the lower levels of Portuguese football before moving to coach Nacional Madeira from 1999-2003. He most notably served as an assistant for Carlos Queiroz during his Real Madrid tenure from 2003 to 2004 and as a manager for Sporting CP where he took the club to the 2005 UEFA Cup Final which Sporting lost to CSKA Moscow, 3–1.
