Ajax Amsterdam congratulate Mido on Twitter for first trophy as Zamalek manager

Ahmed Hossam, better known as Mido, The former Ajax striker won Saturday with Al-Zamalek Egyptian Cup by defeating Smouha SC. 1-0  and as Mido came in the past from Ajax, Olympique Marseille, Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma and stopped in 2013 as a professional footballer.

The former Ajax Amsterdam striker,  spent much of his career in Europe, where he had spells at five different clubs before he started his job at Al-Zamalek last jan, the club where he started his career. just become the youngest manager to win a trophy in Egyptian football as his Zamalek won the Egyptian cup.

The Arabic Twitter handler for AFC Ajax made a nice gesture by sending congratulations to the former Ajax Amsterdam striker:

 Ajax tweet become the most retweeted tweet for the Arabic handler with 179 re-tweets and 77 favorites in 24hrs. On the other hand, Mido tweeted a photo of himself with the trophy standing next to the Zamalek flag:

Its a smart move from Ajax Social Media manager who took the chance to appear in the Egyptian scene by sending congratulation Ahmed Hossam Mido who wear Ajax Amsterdam shirt in 2001 and continued with them for two seasons scoring 22 goals in 50 matches for Ajax, before Mido make a return to them in 2010 for one season when he scored 3 goals in 6 games.
