We’re almost a week away from one of the best occasions that we absolutely love, Mother’s Day. Every year many brands welcome this occasion by launching a campaign that celebrates mothers or by launching offers and discounts on products that mothers need.

  • UN Women 2015
  • Juhayna 2017

Over the years we have seen many creative campaigns that either touched our hearts and made us emotional or made us laugh our lungs out.

Until brands launch their 2023 Mother’s Day campaigns, let’s remember some of the best campaigns that brands launched before.

UN Women 2015

In 2015 UN Women launched one of the best campaigns to break the taboo of not saying the mother’s name in public.

The campaign is under the name “Give Mom Back Her Name” and it was created to encourage men to say their mother’s name without feeling ashamed, rather being proud of it.

The campaign also created a hashtag #MyMothersNameIs on Twitter so the audience can participate and they did.

Juhayna 2017

Juhayna launched a very creative campaign under the name of “Do You Remember, Mom?” that depended on the theme of nostalgia. The brand gathered a few mothers and showed them baby photos of their sons and daughters and then surprised them with them wearing the same outfits in the photos.

Kiri Egypt 2018

Kiri Egypt launched a very beautiful and emotional campaign in 2018 under the name of “Beautiful As You Are”. The brand gather a number of moms in a classroom and asked them a few questions to remind them how amazing moms they are.

Baheya Foundation 2018

The non-profit organization urges the viewers to donate to help mothers by launching a campaign that sheds light on the importance of the word “Mama”.

The campaign is under the name “The Most Precious Word In The World” and it includes a few situations where people call out for their mom every time they face an obstacle.

Knorr 2018

We all know that our moms can catch our lies and this is what Knorr did. The brand gathered a few mothers and made them ask questions to their kids and figure out if they were lying.

Rush Brush 2021

In 2021 Rush Brush made it easy for its audience to buy their moms their gifts. The brand collaborated with the actress Arfa Abdelrasoul and they released a rap song.

Surprising, right?

ElAraby Group 2022

In 2022 ElAraby Group collaborated with the popular band Massar Egbari and launched a very emotional campaign that included a beautiful song to honor mothers.

Vodafone 2021 and 2022

As we are saving the best for the last, we had to give it to Vodafone. Vodafone can easily win Mother’s Day campaigns as for two years in a row it launched 2 creative campaigns that went extremely viral and caused a huge buzz all everywhere.

In 2021, Vodafone launched a campaign, which its idea is based on how each and every mother protect their children when someone criticizes them.

The 2022 Mother’s Day campaign is simply the best and can probably top all Mother’s Day campaigns. The telecom company launched a campaign that is based on the fact that all moms deserve a break.

The advert was extremely hilarious and the fact that it is based on insights is the key to why it successfully went viral.

Mother’s Day is a special occasion celebrated worldwide to honor the women who have played a significant role in our lives. It is a day dedicated to mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and mother figures. Each year, marketers and brands come up with unique and creative campaigns to celebrate this special day.

We can’t wait to see this year’s Mother’s Day campaigns and what Vodafone has in its pockets. Stay Tuned.
