It has been almost a month since Israel started a genocide and ethnic cleansing against Gaza, Palestine. Last Friday, Gaza was completely isolated from the whole world as Israel cut all types of connection and communication so the Palestinians couldn’t report what was happening.

With the bombing rate increasing on that day turning the entire city red and orange from the blazing fire, people called out for help, especially from Elon Musk, X’s owner, to provide a connection to Gaza from his Starlink just like he did when Ukraine went under the same attack.

Unfortunately, the response was not in our favor.

Here is what has been happening on X since the genocide started.

X States That It Supports Free Speech… But Does It?

X, previously known as Twitter is the only platform that no one has complained about since the war began until it received a threat.

We have seen many people complain about Instagram and Facebook for being anti-Palestine due to banning pro-Palestine content, removing important platforms that show what exactly is happening in Gaza, and removing comments that support Gaza.

While Facebook and Instagram were against Palestine, X, previously known as Twitter had no complaints of being biased. People didn’t complain that X removed their tweets or any content, unlike the other social media platforms.

Due to X’s policies, Thierry Breton, the European commissioner for the internal market, accused the platform of spreading “illegal content and disinformation in the EU” and ordered Musk to file a response “within the next 24 hours,” to ensure that X’s systems are effective, and report on the crisis measures taken. Breton also wrote that the “violent and terrorist content that appears to circulate on your platform,” after Musk made some changes in public interest policies many European users were uncertain of the events.

Musk then replied “Our policy is that everything is open source and transparent, an approach that I know the EU supports,” “Please list the violations you allude to on 𝕏, so that that the public can see them.”

Yet, it was reported that later X removed 3 accounts said to be pro-Hamas.

People Seeking Musk’s Help

When the terrorist country Israel cut internet access and all types of communications, people called for Musk and his Starlink and he responded.

The next day after the connection was cut in Gaza, it was published on many platforms that Musk responded to people’s calls and stated that it would allow Starlink to provide a connection to Gaza; many people believed his response and it went extremely viral.

Pls investigate🙌🏻 These people are suffering and can’t inform the world of what they are going through 💔

No terminals from Gaza have attempted to communicate with our constellation.

SpaceX will support communication links with internationally recognized aid organizations.

Right after his announcement, which resulted in an angry response from the Israeli communication minister to Musk.

The Israeli response had Musk taking back what he said about providing network coverage from Starlink.

Triggering The Colonizer’s Anger

Elon Musk’s so-called “response” angered Israeli authorities.

Israel doesn’t allow any help to Gaza, which is why they had an aggressive response when Musk stated that Starlink would provide a connection. The Israeli Communication Minister threatened Musk saying that Israel will use all means at its disposal to fight the re-establishment of communications in Gaza. He suggested that Musk should use the promise of a re-established internet to negotiate the release of Israeli hostages by Hamas, and said the group will end up using Starlink for “terrorist activities” if it’s provided.

This threat had Musk stating that he wouldn’t provide Starlink Network to Gaza unless he discussed it with the U.S. and Israel.

Did You Really Think Musk Was Going To Help?

Amid all the negativity, we hoped for someone who could listen, but can it be Elon Musk? Definitely No.

Unfortunately, entrepreneurs like Musk, Zuckerburg, and so on, belong to the Western media; they will refuse to give any help to the Palestinians they will stand with Israel and will always try to conceal the truth.

For some reason, X is allowing Palestinian content, which is why some people prefer publishing what is happening in Gaza on it but we can’t guarantee it will remain the same. If Israel pressures Musk to follow the same policies as Facebook and Instagram, X won’t be the place to reveal some of the truth.
