With the emergence of AI tools and how they are always developing and invading every corner of our lives, people get more scared of losing their jobs. While most people who work in a creative field are worried, writers are the ones who are worried the most.

Ever since Chat GPT was created along with other text-generating AI tools, writers have been feeling threatened.

The most frequently asked question is “Can AI replace writers?”

We can’t deny that Chat GPT solved many writing issues and whether you have the writing skill or not, Chat GPT is there for you. Despite the existence of Chat GPT and its undeniable help, can it actually replace the skill of writing that humans have?

The Advantages of AI Tools In Writing

There’s no denying that AI tools like Chat GPT are extremely beneficial to writers and can spare them much time. AI tools can help writers generate ideas and overcome their creative block.

Many writers struggle with generating ideas and suffer from min and creative blocks, AI can really help with this. It can easily give you multiple ideas and references so you can be inspired while writing.

AI can also create an outline for all your ideas to turn them into one writing.

Here’s Why AI Can Never Replace Writers

There is a huge difference between machines and human beings. Can an AI tool write plays like Shakespeare? Of course not.

As brilliant as AI is, it can never produce pieces of writing like humans. AI is limited, it won’t provide a piece of writing on every idea you get as it also lacks information; these AI tools are only here to help not to replace.

One of the many purposes of writing is to deliver emotions and certain messages, machines can’t express emotions and they won’t be able to use certain words to deliver a certain feeling.

Also, while AI can produce writing without any grammatical errors, it will still need rephrasing and revising by writers to make sure the result is exactly what they want.

So, as a writer or a content creator, you can never take a piece of writing by AI and use it blindly.

Lack of Empathy

While Chat GPT is a brilliant tool when it comes to writing, can it deliver human feelings?

If you looked at any piece of writing by AI, you’d find it flat, cold, and emotionless; it won’t connect with you the same way human writing does. This is due to what we have mentioned earlier, the inability to express emotions.

Lack of Creativity

How does Chat GPT work? Who’s responsible for the provided ideas?

AI only writes about the idea you provide, and it can generate ideas when you also provide information about the topic you want. While it can help with this part, it can’t generate ideas on its own, only the human mind can.

AI has to be provided with data so it can work, unlike the human mind.

Inability To Deliver Human Emotion

AI can never deliver emotions through writing like a human does.

Delivering emotions through writing is a very hard task, you have to choose the right words without being too vulgar or too cliche! AI can’t do this process.

If you’re a copywriter and want to write funny copy for a campaign, do you think AI can do that? The answer is absolutely not.

These tools don’t understand sarcasm, dialect, tone of voice, slang, and so on, they only understand English and express it robotically.

Only humans are capable of producing different types of writing delivering tons of emotions.

AI Is Invented And Controlled By Humans

If humans invented AI, do you think AI can top the human mind?

Even AI can be biased, during the last month when people tested Chat GPT about what it can write about Palestine, the content was inaccurate and didn’t deliver the right information, while other tools didn’t even have information to provide.

Those machines you think will replace humans are in fact, controlled by humans; they can’t work or generate content without human interference.

In the end, AI is just a machine, no matter how many times it will be updated and improved, it will always be a machine. Yes, it can solve issues and help in difficult tasks but humans will always be needed to make sure these machines are doing their jobs accurately.
