For a long time, people have considered social media a place where they can speak freely and express their opinions as long as they are within the community standards, which state that there is no violence, sexual harassment, bullying, etc.

This is completely understandable but why is it when every time someone comments to showcase the truth about what has been happening in Palestine, it gets deleted?

Here’s what you need to know about

Social Media Platforms Banning And Silencing Pro-Palestine

Social Media platforms officially support terrorism by silencing the truth.

Since Israel attacked Gaza, Palestinians and many people worldwide have been sharing authentic news about what is happening to Gaza, exposing the global zionist media. The content varies between the siege imposed on Gaza, bombing buildings and civilians, and bombing landowners while evacuating their homes.

This news and content are all either being erased or not reaching other users to the extent that many users around the world have complained. Social media platforms are shutting people up trying to conceal the truth about Israel’s apartheid against Palestinians.

Here’s what has been happening on these platforms.

Instagram, Facebook, And TikTok Are Erasing Palestinian Content

Ever since the Israeli genocide began, many users found difficulty sharing content about Palestine and even writing comments.

Instagram is going on a spree of taking down content and deleting comments and even stories. Ever since Israel began its bombing, Instagram started banning people from commenting supporting Palestine, the application also deleted comments due to the “Community Standards”, and even took down accounts of Palestinian reporters. Also, many influencers stated that any Instagram story they post related to Palestine doesn’t reach as many followers as the other stories, which means, Instagram is adjusting its algorithms.

One of the Palestinian reporters Motaz Azaiza got his Instagram account deleted because he was reporting the actual story in Gaza and real footage.

Meanwhile, many users have tried to report stories and comments attacking Gaza and Palestinians in an extremely violent way and Instagram replies with “The story/comment wasn’t removed”. Also, it is worth mentioning that The hashtag #FreePalestine has reached 3.4 million posts on Instagram.

This has been going on on all social media platforms; people have also complained that Facebook is deleting their pro-Palestinian posts as well as TikTok; all platforms are taking down any Palestinian-related content and banning people from commenting.

Reject The New Update And Confuse The Algorithm

The 3 social media platforms suddenly required updates, which led to another restriction on publishing Palestinian-related content.

Yesterday, many Instagram users posted reels urging people not to update any of the platforms Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok because the new updates restrict pro-Palestinian content. Another tip the users posted is to manipulate the Instagram algorithm. If you were to post any IG story related to Palestine, post something irrelevant between them so you can push your stories to your followers.

When Instagram users tried this hack, it worked and their stories started to reach their followers once again.

Whom To Follow And To Unfollow

As we have seen many worldwide celebrities are supporting the zionist country and spreading misinformation. Actress Jamie Lee Curtis posted on her Instagram account a photo of children looking at the sky claiming they are Israeli. Only seconds later, comments flooded her post with people stating that these kids are, in fact, Palestinians. Justin Bieber did the same thing, he posted a photo of Gaza as if it were Israel and then removed it when he found out it was the wrong photo!

These two are joined by multiple celebrities like The Rock, Madonna, Amy Schumer, Nina Dobrev, and Nas Daily, who announced his official nationality is now Israeli-Palesentian and not vice versa.

On the other hand, here are some important accounts to follow if you want to be updated on what is happening in Palestine.

What we all need to do now is to show our support for Palestine in any possible way. Keep sharing Palestinian content and create your own if it is possible. We need to raise awareness and show the world that what Israel is doing to Palestine is genocide.
