It has been a month now since Israel started a genocide against the Palestinians. While the whole world is talking about it and many people have started to support Palestine, we couldn’t help but notice that the war affected some Western people in a whole different way.
It was never expected that another topic would become a trend while there was a genocide happening in Gaza, but it happened and this topic is “The holy Quran”.

The war in Gaza affected people in two ways,
1- Some started to see the truth.
2- Others started buying the Quran.
It all started with how the Palestinians have such a strong faith. Many people especially Europeans and Americans have stated that they admire how Palestinians are thanking God and asking him to take care of their martyrs. Many users took to Instagram and TikTok to express how they were amazed that there was not a single Palestinian objecting or asking God why all of this is happening and instead, they are thanking him and putting all of their faith and trust in him.
This strong faith has led non-Muslims to wonder what Islam is about, which led to many people purchasing the holy Quran.
The Quran Is Trending In Europe and The US.
Buying the Quran has become one of the most trending topics these days.
The strong faith of Palestinians drove people to start asking questions about Islam, which made them start buying the Quran and reading it. This resulted in many users posting videos about their experience reading the holy Quran and how it’s making them feel inside.
Each video received many comments asking about how to buy the book and that they have just “reverted” to Islam, and yes, people are using “revert” not “convert”.

TikTok Has Become The Place To Talk About The Quran
Westerns who started reading the Quran have uploaded tons of videos about their beautiful experience.
You can find all of these users on TikTok as it became the platform for spreading the word and explaining verses from the Quran. In fact, TikTok is the platform where the topic is trending the most.
These videos are all going viral on TikTok and some comments are helping them with explaining verses and even recommending them people to listen to.

Megan Rice: The Founder Of The Quran Book Club
A woman named Megan Rice on TikTok inspired many others to read the Quran and was also one of the very first people to point out the strong faith of Palestinians.
Rice started posting a series of videos after she bought the Quran explaining and reviewing what is she reading, which made her followers interested in buying the holy Quran.
After receiving so many comments asking her to read more and elaborate more verses, she created a digital book club where she, other readers, and those who are interested in knowing Islam can share their thoughts and explanations of the Quran verses.
Megan actually inspired other users and they started posting videos about their experience with reading the holy Quran.
