For the first time in the Middle East, as part of it’s vision in supporting accountants and financial professionals worldwide , the IMA® ( Institute of Management Accountants) announced Cairo as the first host for the ‘Train the Trainer’ workshop , a training program designed and customized to enhance and empower CMA Instructors delivering the CMA Program.
The 3 days’ workshop taking place from the 11th – 13th of August, will include comprehensive introductions to training and presentation skills as well as thorough discussions of different elements of a well-run training program starting from planning, design, delivery, and ending by evaluating and reporting , all of which will equip participants with skills, techniques and state of the art methods used to deliver a high quality training that caters the increased expectations of their trainees.
Before the start of the workshop, each participant is expected to submit a 5-minute video presentation which will be used to evaluate and assess their presentation skills, assuring the course caters the development of every trainee.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be familiar with the basics of adult learning and will be able to train using different methods, techniques and tools to meet the needs of diverse groups of trainees. They are expected to learn presentation skills that will include establishing credibility with their trainees and use good communication to deliver their message effectively.

They will also gain experience and knowledge in dealing with difficult trainees and diffusing conflicting situations. Pre-Assessment Trainees are expected to provide the trainer with a 5-minute video presentation before they start the workshop. This video will be used to assess their presentation skills to help cater the course to their needs.
