We have a lot of taglines from Ramadan ads that we remember. Some are even the reason why ads get glued in our heads. That is why it is worth highlighting the importance of coming up with a brilliant tagline for your ad. A line that stays engraved in heads for generations and through different generations. To honor this, we gathered some of the best taglines that have been in our heads for years.

B.Laban’s Ramadan 2025 Ad

B.Laban’s “Asfeen 3alshan fel 7elw Gamdeen” is a one-of-a-kind tagline. One that will stay in our heads for years to come. It is important to note that B.Laban’s campaign then sparked a trend of brands writing an official statement of apology for being “too good” or “in so much demand.” This trend was initially led by B.Laban’s genius campaign idea. The ad also featured Akram Hosny as the main representative for B.Laban. A role that he played to the fullest and left fans not only laughing and admiring the brand but also remembering it.

Orange’s Ramadan 2018 Ad

If you walk in the streets of Egypt and utter to a complete stranger “Gary ya Gary,” you’ll find them completing your lyrics in no time. With Donia Samir Ghanem’s majestic voice at the very first scene of the ad, this is one ad with a song that will forever be memorable to us.

The ad features many celebrities singing about how neighbors are sometimes doing things that could lead you to be at odds, yet in Ramadan, this is not an option. Because it is the month of forgiveness, respect, and kindness. The next time you hear someone finishing off the lyrics with “ya 7etet sokara,” don’t find it odd; perceive it as Orange’s brilliance in making a song so memorable.

Banque Misr Ramadan 2018  Ad

Ana Ebn Masr. Three words that will remain memorable for every Egyptian out there. It is an ad that doesn’t just stay in minds; it is an ad that remains resonant for generations. With Mahoumd El Esseily’s voice that most Egyptians love, the ad was able to encompass the spirit and vibes of Egyptian resilience in times that are hard.

Vodafone Ramadan 2015  Ad

Yes, the ad’s name is “Qowetak fe 3eiltak” (your family is your strength), yet the buzzword that has been known as the ad’s name is “zaman el sha2awa.” That is the very first buzzword that comes to mind whenever someone’s talking about nostalgic Ramadan ads. The ad brilliantly features various celebrity family members, from the Abu Auf siblings to the Hussein and Mostafa Fahmy duo. It shows us how our strength will forever lie within our family and how Vodafone will make sure to always connect us with various means like “the family card.” That has many benefits you and your family members can use.

Orange Ramadan 2016 Ad

It is known to feature Akram Hosny and Ahmed Fahmy singing the famous “Zahma ya Shar Zahma.” A buzzword that if you said in the street, you’d find strangers singing along with the rest of the lyrics. The ad shows how Orange is with you even when you have a million things to do, places to go, and no capacity to deal with the Ramadan chaos. It is displayed in a very fun and captivating way using Adaweya’s old song but tweaking the lyrics to fit the ad.

EG Bank Ramadan 2017 Ad

محدش بيعملك حساب aka “Nobody takes you into consideration.” A tagline that everyone knows who it belongs to in Ramadan. The EG Bank 2017 campaign in Ramadan proved how a bank can turn everyday simple and relatable actions into a humor-filled creative campaign that has the best call to action ever.

Crunch Ramadan 2015 Ad

A product that has long been gone from the market yet still has an ad that people use its dialogue every single day of their life? Yes, that is Crunch, and it’s the Ramadan 2015 campaign that held a dialogue of buzzwords. Some are sticking with us till now as we use them for jokes, memes, internal cliches, and more. Crunch made the ultimate humor-filled ad, and for that we’re forever grateful for making it this memorable to this day.

Maxibon Ramadan 2013 Ad

Creativity has always run deep in every Egyptian marketer’s blood vein. And Maxibon’s Ramadan 2013 ad proved this in a very fun ad. The ad shows how someone is bullying a circus lion and throwing popcorn at it while saying “خد فشار” (eat popcorn). A buzzword that is still used sometimes when we’re joking and having a laugh. The ad shows how Maxibon is the ultimate dessert that allows you to be as invincible as it gets. Creative, funny, and with a very creative call to action to buy the product.

NBE Ramadan 2012 Ad

Financing people with a certain passion that they haven’t sought is something that the National Bank of Egypt has focused on in their 2012 Ramadan campaign. The campaign featured people who have a certain job yet are doing random things in between that are considered their passion rather than what they do in reality. And that specific “بيلؤ” stuck in our minds for years. To the extent that we still remember and use it. It’s funny, of value, and shows how the bank has services for financing SMEs.

NBE Ramadan 2014 Ad

“ما تقوم تطمن على فلوسك” Another Egyptian line that we all love and remember. This ad was about keeping your money safe and not just leaving it at home. Because the different scenarios displayed in the ad, like your home drowning, thieves, or even a family member’s greed, could lead to you losing all your money. The humorous way and choice of Mahmoud Hafez as a farmer who is playing out the “worst case scenario” game of what could happen to his money while he is leaving it at home. The call to action is simple: keep it in a bank instead.

Etisalat Ramadan 2012 Ad

Parting ways with your long-standing telecom company could feel like a confession, a breakup, or even a dramatic scene. And e& FKA Etisalat? They nailed it in their 2012 ad campaign that showed various celebrities playing call center agents who are overreacting to their customers, implying that they want to part ways or leave because of how good Etisalat is and how they wish to simply opt for a better choice. It was creative, very funny, and filled with buzzwords like “Kebert 3alena ya amooor!!”

Final Thoughts

To conclude this, it is important to always think of what could be a buzzword that is memorable. What could be a tagline that people will remember for ages to come? Because Ramadan ads are always humorous, creative, emotional, and nostalgic, but most of all, they are memorable.
