After reading thousands of articles and dozens of books about time management and productivity to discover the real ways to be more productive, we created a new approach that might help young professionals to live a practical yet productive lifestyle.

To do anything of value, to create anything, we must be productive to a degree, we should think about how to minimalize our surroundings and decrease the noice that consumes our energy, specifically our work and home.

But what if it’s not only our working space that needs a cleaning?

What if that big apartment or home is actually impeding your productivity? What if a smaller but more efficient place would boost your production?

And that is where studio apartments come in.

Why studio apartments?

A studio apartment, or an efficiency apartment, are small self-contained spaces that only contain one room and a separate bathroom.

These elegantly simple homes have been around for years, grabbing the attentions of both young and retired individuals or couples who are willing to enjoy the perks that the small space provides.

The large room will include a large space, which will count as both living and sleeping space, and a small kitchen area. These spaces are free to the mind’s creativity, allowing owners to find new ways to store items and separate rooms.

But, just how exactly can it help you with your productivity?

It’s Ergonomic

Less rooms mean less space for things to get away from you. Your laptop, that sketch, your notes and your drink will always be nearby.

This means you won’t be losing time getting up, searching and returning to your work to retrieve anything.

This will help in the long run with your productivity, according to Atlassian, we can spend around 2 hours a day trying to recover from distractions. One of the most common is to go and get something.

So, if you’re working at home, this will speed up your process.

It promotes Efficiency

We love clutter, and we love having our things all around us. Unfortunately, its not a luxury you can have in the smaller spaces of a studio apartment. Fortunately, it is going to bump up your efficiency levels up to 100.

Living in such a studio leads to having to really choose between things you love, and things you Really love. This forces you to choose exactly what goes together, how much space it will use and how much space you’ll have left.

This creates a fantastic practice in planning what to buy, what to use, what is important and necessary and how well do things fit together. This is great practice for productivity, in which prioritizing work and understanding what goes well with what is a needed skill.

It offers (Lean Living)

Living on luxurious yet sparse items and clutter will make you feel fantastic. There are less things to worry about when living lean, living with the minimum or most essential things.

With a studio apartment, you’ll be paying less utilities because there isn’t a lot of space that needs to be heated or cooled, it’s faster to clean and keep tidy, and you’ll be paying less rent. The entire thing is cost-efficient.

You’ll be thinking and worrying less about bills and coming to a messy home, and focusing more on finishing your workload to get home to an easy home life. Having less things to worry about always reduces stress and improves productivity.

It also asks that you focus on the essentials, keeping up with efficiency, and planning ahead to ensure maximum productivity because you always have the essentials, without the clutter to slow you down.
