CC Plus, the multi-disciplinary communications consulting firm, is planning to hold the first “Narrative PR Summit” in Egypt on September 28th 2016.
CC Plus Managing Director and cofounder, Lamia Kamel stressed that “local and international players are vying for space and a voice in Egypt. More than ever before PR and communications are shaping the voice of the country and the narrative that trends in the public arena” She added that “PR and communications represent a major importance in echoing the voice of the State and highlighting its vision more than ever”.
“We aspire for trends and content creation that will push Egypt towards sustainable development, growth and a competitive position under the international light. It is essential to create this summit to enable PR professionals participate and narrate correlated local news and stories of global impact, in addition to exchanging experiences and identifying future trends in the corporate communications field,” she noted.

Kamel drew the attention that the Narrative PR Summit emphasizes the importance of an elite platform for practicing content creation, as well as public relations and media professionally, in addition to focusing on Egypt and its events, instead of relying on foreign media to tell “our local stories”. Furthermore, it serves as another opportunity for network and communication between the private sector and Egypt as a state.
