“Beauty Shots” a term well known to photographers and advertisers. It is even a newly added options to cell phone cameras. “Beauty Shots” means getting the best out of the picture out of the object or person being photographed, but how can you beauty shoot a building, a desert…a country?

A two minute video on YouTube that flipped tens of photos from all around Egypt…city, desert, river, lakes, mountains and sea proved that you can’t actually beauty shoot a country unless it is actually beautiful.

Throwback: Morgan Freeman Promotes #ThisIsEgypt hashtag

Hash-tagged #ThisIsEgypt Egyptians are called for action and asked to contribute to tourism and invite people from all over the world to visit Egypt, not by making up beauty shots but rather by taking pictures of the beauty that already lies in front of them.

Make people see what you see and what you see is beautiful. Each and every aspect of Egypt’s nature is pulsating with beauty and no matter how many draw backs the country is facing now Cairo remains of enigmatic wonder.

Egypt is not perfect, don’t get the wrong message, no it is not. But no matter how imperfect it gets it always stays in that special place in your heart and you don’t let it out, no matter how many reasons you have, you never let go…because it is truly loved, when it is truly beautiful.

However, it is a fact that no matter how deep people love Egypt, there is no guarantee that the digital campaign will succeed at boosting tourism. Yet there is one solid guarantee… If you are downtown, in the desert or at a busy Egyptian market, your eyes will fall on something that will make you involuntarily say this is beautiful, because #ThisIsEgypt.
