For the second consecutive year, the Creative Industry Summit is back with its grand celebration of Ramadan’s best creative works through The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards 2024. This prestigious event highlights the top Ramadan TV series and advertisements, with the final list of nominees now revealed. As the countdown to the awards ceremony on October 20th begins, the public is invited to cast their votes and choose the winners.
The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards offers a unique platform to honor the exceptional achievements in Ramadan TV and advertising. Unlike traditional awards that rely on expert panels, this event empowers the audience to have their say, recognizing the most impactful creative works across the Middle East through public voting.
As the leading platform for celebrating creativity during Ramadan, the Creative Industry Summit places the audience in the spotlight. Viewers can vote in various categories, from acting, directing, and scriptwriting to drama and comedy series, as well as rising talents. In advertising, categories include the best comedy and emotional ads, advertising agency, director, costume design, production, and more.
The second edition of The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards has seen intense competition, with voting already surpassing 400,000 votes. This year’s finalists in the drama and comedy categories include some of the biggest names in the industry. Competing for Best Dramatic Actor are Karim Abdel Aziz, Essam Omar, Mohamed Shaheen, and Basem Samra. For Best Dramatic Actress, the finalists are Salma Abu Deif, Mai Omar, Asmaa Abu El Yazid, and Aisha Ben Ahmed. In the comedy categories, Sherif Salama, Hisham Maged, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and Akram Hosny are finalists for Best Comedy Actor, while Dina El Sherbiny, Asmaa Galal, Aya Samaha, and Rahma Ahmed are up for Best Comedy Actress.
The advertising category also features top finalists. Media Hub, Tarek Nour Communications, Synergy, and Circus are competing for Best Advertising Agency, while Ayman Bahgat Qamar, Aziz El Shafie, Mena Adly El Qeiy, and Tamer Mahdy are up for Best Jingle Writer. The Best Creative Team category features Media Hub, Synergy, Tarek Nour Communications, and Fortune Promoseven Cairo. For Best Creative Director, Ashraf Said Nassar, Mohamed Nasif, Mohamed Zohair, and Hussein Diaa are among the finalists.

Last year, over 110,000 votes were cast, with unforgettable moments such as actor Taha El Desouki graciously giving his Best Rising Actor award for El Soffara to child actor Omar Sherif for his role in Taht El Wesaya, showcasing the spirit of camaraderie and recognition that defines these awards.
