Another great year has passed with amazing videos from around the world. The time has come to look at which videos were the most watched and shared in the Middle East and North Africa region.

This year, the list represents an amazing variety of creativity from comedy shows to social commentaries, and thrilling moments from big names on YouTube like Bader Saleh, Shady Srour from Egypt and Hayla Ghazal. Collectively these 10 videos have hundreds of millions of views from creators, with more than 10 million cumulative subscribers.

YouTube has over a billion users – almost one-third of all people on the Internet – and everyday people watch hundreds of millions of hours on YouTube and generate billions of views. In the Middle East and North Africa, growth in watch time on YouTube has accelerated and is now up over 80% year over year, the fastest growth rate we’ve seen in two years!
