Orange launches its first-ever TV commercial in Egypt

French company Orange has completed the acquisition of all shares of Egyptian Company for Mobile Services Mobinil during the past year. The new brand activation and launch campaign in the Egyptian market is currently running to re-brand Mobinil into Orange.

Orange is launching its first-ever television commercial to air titled “Mabrouk” or, “Congratulations” to celebrate the new brand activation in the Egyptian market and to have all Mobinil lines work under the new trademark “Orange Egypt”.

This is Orange’s first-ever TV commercial in Egypt but it’s boldly going ahead with ambitious advertising plans to be deployed soon.

Orange operates in more than 28 countries worldwide, including 18 African countries; Egypt had 33m subscribers. The company ranked 54th in worldwide highest-value brands list, according to the brand finance institution estimated to be worth $19bn. Orange is one of the leading companies in the global telecommunications field.
