King Tut, the footballer Pharaoh, has been unveiled to be the official Mascot for 2019 AFCON, which will take place from 21 June to 19 July in Egypt.
The Organizing Committee of the 2019 African Cup of Nations revealed the AFCON 2019 Mascot; The child “Tut” followed by the Pharaoh King Tutankhamun.

Mohamed Fadl, the director of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations revealed the official tournament mascot, which represents a pharaoh child wearing an Egyptian shirt and a pharaonic outfit, his foot on the official championship’s ball.

The tournament’s official Facebook account published a video of the new mascot under the comment: “After a long journey. It has finally arrived. Welcome with us our special host in the 2019 Africa Cup #Egypt_2019”.
