Apple Inc. has had many notable advertisements since the 1980s. While the advertisements have been mostly successful, Apple appeals to our emotions in TV advertising. Apple’s use of sophisticated videos with polished visuals and mood-evoking music tapped into the mode of persuasion that deals with putting the audience into a certain frame of mind.
It is hard to just imagine what McDonald’s ads might look like if they got the same setup, sound effects and inspirational mood? Just “Think Different”, Buzzfeed just did!
