Farida Osman has become a hero to young girls and aspiring swimmers, both locally and internationally. The young Olympian has represented Egypt twice at the Olympics, and numerous times in other championships. She also holds many of Egypt’s and Africa’s swimming records.
For best female athlete from Africa 2017, It was only a matter of time before she would launch her own swimming academy to help young local children reach their dreams as well.
Osman signed on with Hyde Park Developments for a strategic partnership and to launch a new swimming academy.
The new partnership includes full sponsorship in all upcoming local and international championships. The developer will also be creating a new “brand” under Osman’s name, making her an ambassador for the developments’ swimming academy.
The new academy will be located inside Hyde Park New Cairo.
Sports sponsorship for more than football?
Sport becoming the first pick for leading brands. This isn’t the first time that Hyde Park Developments has supported sports. Earlier this year, the developer partnered with English football club, Arsenal, becoming their first ever official Egyptian partner.
Globally, companies in all fields are turning to sport to drive impressive marketing results. And for Egypt, after the mega campaigns for World Cup 2018, Egyptians become hungrier than usual for achievements and medals.
The answer came quickly from the Spanish city of Tarragona where Egypt’s champions secured 45 medals in the 2018 Mediterranean multi-sport games to feed the Egyptian pride and ignite hope in glorious sports future.
Notable, the remarkable initiative by Hyde Park comes only weeks after Farida Osman’s 2 gold and 1 silver win at the Mediterranean Games.

Hyde Park choice for sponsoring the fastest female swimmer in Egypt and Africa could inspire more brands to invest in potential sports champions that can capture the society’s love and respect while transferring their experiences to build up new and stronger generations.
Strategically, Farida’s Academy and the new sponsorship deal have met its marketing goals as it planned to drive excitement around the brand while the golden fish will continue to swim for success.

Osman expressed her pride in cooperating with Hyde Park Developments. She also praised the developer for their continued support of the local sports sector and talents. Highlighting that “Egypt has many talents that deserve support, adding that such a valuable partnership makes her wants to achieve more and more in the future,” according to the press release.
At the 2018 Mediterranean Games in Tarragona, Spain, Osman competed for Egypt in four events and won three medals, two gold and one silver. Earlier last week, the Egyptian president honored the champion swimmer alongside other Egyptian athletes for their hard work at the Mediterranean Games.
