Cairo continues to become more and more dense, with the city set to grow from 18 million people to 40 million people by 2050. When the government announced the ambitious plan for a new capital to help congestion, it was an ideal situation.

This month, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has finally shown results towards that goal.

Earlier last week, NUCA announced that the first units for “Capital Residence” has opened for reservation. Citizens can now start reserving their place in the future capital. The first phase of the residential project “Capital Residence” has finished and is ready for booking.

Capital Residence is the first residential development at the new administrative capital to open its doors. It is also the first project to be completed exclusively by the government.

Moving to pure digital approach:

A large majority of real estate developers are still implementing offline marketing campaigns and limiting themselves to paper-based processes. That’s necessary but offline marketing is not enough.

Digital transformation is redefining many of the experiences of our day-to-day lives. Today’s marketing professionals are all becoming digital marketers to deal with dramatic change more so in customer behavior.

For a governmental entity targeting mass audience including millennials, the need for change is even more dramatic.

Digital marketing tactics are raising the competitive bar in every sector business now. To capture the opportunity and embrace a new model that dramatically improves the digital customer experience.

Here’s what New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) did.

How to book an apartment at the new capital (online):

Deadline for booking may be August 18, but the deadline for submitting your information will end on the 31st of July.

To submit your information, just go to hdb-reservation.com and follow the instructions.

All you need are a local phone number and your national ID, or if you’re younger than 16, just add a copy of your birth certificate. An internal audit from the bank will start from the 1st of August until August 11 before the booking process.

If you are lost, NUCA together with the Housing and Development Bank has kindly put together a simple video to help you through the process.

The installment system allows up to 4 years without interest or pay the full amount by cash and deduct 7% from the price.

Apartments are fully finished with apartments sizes starts from 120SqM till 180SqM. Each floor will have 4 apartments.

Booking for apartments will happen between August 12 and 18, so better hurry to catch one before it’s too late.

The new administrative capital is in full swing, located between Cairo and the Suez Canal region. The Housing Ministry has said that the city is set to be a 270-square-mile hub, with 21 residential districts to accommodate 5 million people.

It will feature over 1,000 mosques and churches, an artificial lake, a 5,000-seat conference center, around 2,000 schools and colleges, over 600 medical facilities, and a major theme park.
