ELARABY Group made sure to announce a defining moment in their conference on the 15th of December 2025. The company announced the conclusion of all industrial and commercial partnerships with Toshiba Home Appliances.
This decision is effective by the end of 2025. Additionally, everyone is considering it a move that reflects something bigger and broader. It reflects an evolution in the global home appliances landscape. That is, as the Group reshapes its alliances to support growth that is long-term, better flexibility, and, of course, enhanced innovation across its operations.
Half a Billion Dollars on Manufacturing
At the same press conference, ELARABY made sure to unveil that nearly USD 500 million in new investments will be dedicated to manufacturing various products. Like home appliances, electronics, and critical components. These expansions aim to deepen local production. Furthermore, they aim to reduce reliance on imports and increase the added value of Egyptian-made products. That is, all while maintaining global quality standards, of course.
A Powerhouse of Global Partnerships
The Group’s strategy is backed by an impressive network of international partners. Including Sharp and Hitachi from Japan, La Germania and Hoover from Italy, and TCL from China. Alongside these big names, there are ELARABY’s own brands like Egypt’s Tornado, Japan’s Kajito, and Germany’s Heller. It was stated in the conference that the Group has fully acquired Heller as part of its push toward stronger brand ownership and industrial control.
Commitment Beyond Contracts
CEO Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud ELARABY made sure to emphasize how customer trust remains a non-negotiable pillar and one of the top values that the company has. That is why he stated that even after ending the partnership with Toshiba, all Toshiba products sold under ELARABY’s warranty will continue to receive full after-sales service.
This underscores the company’s philosophy, where responsibility to consumers outlives any single partnership. A concept that the late Mahmoud El Araby walked by always and made sure to grant it to his successors.
Building the Future, Piece by Piece
ELARABY Group aims to position itself as a regional manufacturer that is ready to compete across Europe, Africa, and the Middle east. The Group’s strategy is one that blends in their scale and ambition and signals confidence in Egypt’s industrial future.
Now investing in the Middle East’s largest R&D center along with collaborating with global suppliers in compressors, steel, glass, motors, and cooling components. This highlights ELARABY’s ability to shape markets, technologies, and partnerships for decades to come ahead globally.
