In 1978, El Kowery family had established a company named “ElSHAMADAN Co. For Food Industries S. A. E” Owned by Mr. Taher EL Kowery & brothers, Located Alexandria, Egypt.
El Shamadan beloved-but-faded brand considered as one of the four biggest cake producing companies in Egypt. Over 16000 sq. El Shamadan is producing a wide range of products including wafers, biscuits, chocolates and cakes. You might find some names familiar such as Nawaem, Katakito & Hanawi.

Although the brand name disappeared for a while but you still find the products on the shelf in supermarkets and kiosks in Egypt. It seems that El Shamadan is poised to come back strong in the game with a new set of Ads coated with chocolate & filled with Hazelnut cream for brand re-launch.
