Coca Cola Egypt just launched a new bottle that’s as cool as ice. The soda mega brand is taking over Egyptian Northern Coast “Sahel” offering Coke served in a chilled bottle made of ice shaped exactly like the classic Coke bottles.

Coca Cola itself opened up the door to this one by declaring that the bottle was environmentally friendly. Once your ice-cold beverage is consumed, the packaging melts away, leaving nothing to throw away or recycle.

Pepsi respond: It’s Gold not Water!

While Coke trying hard to keep the soda drink cool in the Egyptian hot weather, Pepsi come up with a new competition in Egypt’s Northern Coast.

Pepsi is taking a swipe at Coke’s iconic “Coke Ice Bottle” with a summer ad campaign in Northern Coast that also knocks its competitor’s creative bottle to announce “Gold Pepsi Bottle” with associated hashtag “#دهب_مش_ميه”!

Simply spot Pepsi vintage truck in Sahel, snap a picture next to it and post it on your Instagram account. Each week the contestant with the most snapped pictures next to the truck will win a Gold Pepsi Bottle.

Respectively introduced in the year 1886 and 1903, both Coca-Cola and Pepsi were rivals each other trying to dominate the carbonated soft drink market. Both brands were undergoing global advertisement war through print ads and video ads, trying to stay on top of each other.

The rivalry between Coca-Cola and Pepsi is legendary. We are witnessing a new chapter in Coke Vs. Pepsi war which we can call it El Sahel 2016 battle, where brands seize the North Coast at every opportunity possible to get featured in with a massive buzz!
