Before he announce his retirement in 20 December 2013, Aboutrika won 3 Africa Cup of Nations titles for Egypt and also helped Al Ahly to conquer the continent several times plus he helped Al-Ahly to get the bronze medal in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2006.
