In 2014, brands around the globe turned to YouTube as the platform to connect with their audience. From challenging societal norms to expanding on existing hit stories, from collaborating with YouTube talent to integrating into major global events, 2014 was a banner year for brands on YouTube.

To celebrate this amazing year, and gear up for whats sure to be an even bigger 2015, YouTube created this video to celebrate just some of the great work done by brands. Take a look at YouTube’s top ads from 2014:

The platform noted that over one billion minutes were spent watching the top 10 ads of the year.

YouTube also pointed out that despite the fact that ads are nearly 50 percent longer this year compared to last year averaging around three minutes each viewers stayed tuned longer, spending around 50 per cent more time watching them.z
